Welcome to the official Viridescent Dragon website!
The Viridescent Dragon project originally began in July 2014 under the name the "Charlit Project", named for the previous name for my heroine, Charlotte. I just decided to make a quick visual novel and I would just create a few characters on the spot and just work with them, just for fun. I developed many stories and backstories and used up a lot of notebook paper just to come up with this a year and a half later.
I still brainstorm from time to time, and I spend nearly every waking moment imagining ideas and events that I could include in my visual novel. I really never expected that it would take this long to make a "quick" visual novel. I spent a lot of time drawing and re-drawing characters for my novel, and using Novelty, a beta visual novel program, since I'm no good at coding just yet. I still have a lot more to go but I hope that you guys enjoy what I've done so far and that I can continue working on this story and many others that are stacked up in this screwy little head of mine.
